Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. This week’s topic is: Top 10 Most Anticipated Releases For the Rest of 2015
Time for an admission… even though I put out the new releases every Tuesday morning at my store, I rarely have any idea what’s coming out unless I’m REALLY excited about it (or really dread it). So this list is going to be super short and definitely not 10.
Furiously Happy by Jenny Lawson – I’m tempted to preorder this book right now, but I have a sneaky suspicion that it’s going to end up on the bestseller wall and I don’t want to miss out on a discount if I can. Of course, I will be buying this book the day it comes out, and then I plan to get it signed when Jenny comes to Toronto. I alerted my friends to the event as soon as she posted about it on The Bloggess, and I will drag them all there for the hilarity. You should probably check the list to see if she’s going to be near you too, because this is a “can’t miss” book. (September)
Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon – I have been coveting this book since the Penguin Random House Spring Preview. I love the cover, I love the premise, and I love that I’m on the waiting list to get a copy as soon as they show up at PRH head office. I really hope it lives up to my expectations, because they have been set pretty high. (September)
And that’s it. Yep, two books that I’ll be actively looking for the rest of the year. I’m sure I’ll find some other really great books along the way (especially after reading all the posts from this week’s TTT), but I don’t know what they are right now.
What new releases are you looking forward to reading the rest of the year? Are you like me and have very few plans? Leave a comment!
So far that I know of I’m waiting for After the Storm by Linda Castillo and Those Girls by Chevy Stevens. They come out soon, but not soon enough!

Oh–another blogger from Toronto!
Everything Everything has blown up this week on so many lists that I can’t help but want to read it too! (Also, that cover for Furiously Happy is infectious with happiness…)
Cheers,

I have a moderately huge girl-crush on Jenny Lawson. She’s just so funny without even trying!

The good news is your TBR pile will remain manageable….well, unless good books find you. 🙂

It’s already woefully out of hand thanks to stuff that has already been released. I’m a tad afraid of what will happen as all the new releases show up in store this fall. 🙂

It’s not just new releases that vex my TBR pile. It’s finding books that I think — I really should have/want to read that!

Both of these were on my list as well! I had a bit of trouble and actually just started looking stuff up on Goodreads and found a ton. Normally I don’t keep track of release dates at all though.

I thought about doing that, but these two stuck with me more than any others, so I figured I should just post the two.
Thanks for dropping by!
