Q: Audio books vs Ebook? If the world stopped printing books which would you prefer between the two? (submitted by Angelica @ Paperback Princess)

A: Years ago I probably would have said paper books, but I have become addicted to audiobooks lately. I like to listen to them while I’m doing things around the house, especially during meal prep Sundays. I also listen to them while I’m on the bus, and occasionally when I’m trying to fall asleep but my brain is running in circles.

I really like the idea of audiobooks in theory, but I have a hard time listening to them in reality because I have a ton of podcasts that I try to listen to as well.

Ebooks all the way. I much prefer the written word which allows for a more active imagination and your own interpretation of the characters. Recently I tried listening to an audiobook and I found that the narrator was very off-putting and was spoiling the story for me.

A good narrator is so important for audiobooks. That is the one major downside to them.
