This week’s Top 10 Tuesday is a cover freebie, and I have suddenly found myself extremely in love with vector graphic book covers, so my Goodreads TBR has become one long love letter to them. Here are a bunch of vector graphic covers that have caught my interest, and subsequently ignited my need to read a lot of contemporary romance.
READ
- The Bromance Book Club by Lyssa Kay Adams
- The Bookish Life of Nina Hill by Abbi Waxman
- Get a Life, Chloe Brown by Talia Hibbert
TO BE READ
- The Life and Medieval Times of Kit Sweetly by Jamie Pacton
- When We Were Magic by Sarah Gailey
- These Witches Don’t Burn by Isabel Sterling
- The Matchmaker’s List by Sonya Lalli
- Only Mostly Devastated by Sophie Gonzales
- The Henna Wars by Abiba Jaigirdar
- I Kissed Alice by Anna Birch
What is your favourite type of book cover right now?

Great list! So many of these are on my TBR. I really want to give Get A Life, Chloe Brown, The Henna Wars, When We Were Magic, These Witches Don’t Burn and The Life and (Medieval) Times of Kit Sweetly a try. 🙂 I love the colours on the cover of The Bookish Life of Nina Hill.

Wonderful list! Okay, this is an embarrassing question… but what do you mean by “vector graphics”? I agree that I love this aesthetic, but I didn’t know it could be labeled! So neat. The only books from this list on my TBR are The Bookish Life of Nina Hill because, duh, books, and The Life and (Medieval) Times of Kit Sweetly. The premise makes me smile so much!
Have you read any of these yet? If so, what’s your favorite? If not, what do you hope to read next?

Haha, nothing to be embarrassed about! Most people around the blogosphere just called them illustrated covers. Vector graphics are basically color block illustrations built on a computer. There’s no real shading or obvious brush work done to them to make it look hand drawn. Some of these aren’t exactly vector art, but they come close.
I’ve read the top three, and they were all equally good. If I had to choose, maybe ‘Get a Life, Chloe Brown’ was a smidge better than the other two. Thanks for dropping by!!!

I learned something new today! Thanks for teaching me about vector graphics. 🙂 I hadn’t even noticed this wasn’t just a contemporary romance cover trend! I’ll keep an eye out in the future for more of these.

This is such a great idea for this theme—and I love all of the covers you picked! I added The Bromance Book Club to my TBR pile a while ago … and only partially because of the cover.

What are ‘vector graphic book covers?’ I’ve never heard that term before; I love the cover art for ‘The Henna Wars’ though. It’s visually striking and I’ve never seen anything quite like it. 😛

It’s just an illustration style done on the computer. It’s usually very blocky, solid color pieces, that make a very distinct look.
