Book Blogger Hop: The Great Genre Debate

Q: Which genre do you like the most? (submitted by Shahnila @ Untiereaders)

A: I’ve had many favourite genres over the years. I think my current favourite is the cozy mystery. I love the quirky amateur sleuths who are far more observant than the local police, who solve a murder or theft with just their wits and determination. It’s also a fun genre because there is always a series that will appeal to your geek. So there’s bookish series, but there’s also knitting, cooking, fishing, gardening… everything that could be considered a hobby or interest has its own cozy series.

Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Coffee Addicted Writer that runs from Friday to Thursday. Visit other blogs in the list and comment on their posts. Try to spend some time on the blogs reading other posts and possible become a new follower.  The purpose of the hop is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers.

  1. I love cozies, especially if they have a bookish theme. 🙂 They really are fun, aren’t they? They have that mystery I love and tend to be on the lighter side which is a great follow up when I’ve had a particularly difficult week or am coming down from an especially gut-wrenching read. I hope you have a great weekend!

  2. This week’s BBH question was an easy one for me to answer. Considering my blog is packed with reviews for paranormal romance and urban fantasy books, I don’t think it’ll come as a surprise that my 💜 favourite 💜 reading genre is adult PARANORMAL ROMANCE! 😘 However, like you, I do enjoy cozy paranormal mysteries too.
I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend, Amanda.
