Q: What are your reading goals for 2021? (submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)

A: I set my yearly goal on Goodreads at 52 books again because I assume that I should be able to read at least one book a week. I tend to go in spurts where I don’t read anything for a while, but then I read a whole bunch of books one after the other… so it usually evens out.
I also plan to try more genres and to be more mindful of reading diverse authors. I haven’t been great at breaking out of my comfort zone during 2020, because… well… pandemic. My brain couldn’t take on serious subjects or anything that wasn’t fluff. Now I’m feeling a bit more solid, ready to try new things.
Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Coffee Addicted Writer that runs from Friday to Thursday. Visit other blogs in the list and comment on their posts. Try to spend some time on the blogs reading other posts and possible become a new follower. The purpose of the hop is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers.
Happy New Year. I tend to read rather than watch TV, so can usually read 2 books a week (they tend to be shorter novels too, generally under 200 pages). I have similar goals, wanting to read more genres, including non-fiction. This year left me wanting to read fluff and very “easy” reads too. Lets hope for a better year!
