Book Blogger Hop: Big Blog Plan

Q: How many posts do you schedule for your blog on a weekly basis? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver’s Reviews)

A: Top Ten Tuesday and the Book Blogger Hop linkups are the two weekly posts that I try to schedule in advance most often. I do have a larger game plan mapped out in a spreadsheet, but I don’t always get around to writing each of them. I would love to post more often, but don’t always have the drive or time.

Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Coffee Addicted Writer that runs from Friday to Thursday. Visit other blogs in the list and comment on their posts. Try to spend some time on the blogs reading other posts and possible become a new follower.  The purpose of the hop is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers.

  1. I have 3 memes I try to join in regularly but I no longer schedule them in advance because then I forget to add the link back to the hosting site. It always surprises me how long even a short post can take to write.

  2. Finding and making time to prep posts is always a challenge for me, but scheduling is must if I’m going to post anything. I don’t post every day, which suits me. I just don’t have the time or energy. We do what we can, right? I hope you have a great weekend!

  3. Motivation and time are two things that I struggle with… In “normal” times, I try to post 3 or 4 times a week but I’m unpredictable at the moment. 😦

I think it’s important to remember that this is a hobby so we can only do what we can, when we can.

    1. Absolutely! Blogging is a labour of love. Most of us aren’t going to make a career out of it, so stressing over unrealistic schedules and overworking ourselves is just taking the joy out of it.
