Q: Do you share books? If so, do you have a system to keep track of whom you lend books to? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver’s Reviews)
A: I never lend out my favourite books to anyone. I’ve had too many bad experiences where they aren’t returned, or they don’t come back in the same condition. However, if it’s just a random book that I purchased and enjoyed, I’ll just give it to a friend or family member if I think they might like it. When I was a kid, and still hadn’t learned that others won’t treat your books the same way you do, I would keep track of any lending I did in a small notebook.

I do not often loan books either because of bad experiences. If I do loan out books, they are more likely books I do not expect back. I tend to give books away more than I loan them out. I hope you have a great week!
