Happy Valentine’s Day!!! I haven’t posted as much as I was hoping for throughout February. We are reaching the end of Lockdown 2.0 here, and on top of the stress of returning to the public, I worked a couple of short shifts at the store to help get things ready for reopening. Additionally, I’ve been focusing a lot of my attention on learning about ADHD. In the last few weeks I’ve been working with a psychiatrist to discover what’s going on in my brain. Having done some digging, talking to family and friends, the possible diagnosis seems pretty on point. So now I’m looking into what it would take to get a formal diagnosis, maybe even medication. It would be nice to have a slightly quieter brain.
What I Read
I’ve been on a rereading kick lately because focusing on anything new is a bit too difficult right now. I’ve read The Belgariad and The Mallorean series’ by David Eddings more times than I can count. My parents owned the books and I would reread them fairly regularly as a teen. They are basically like comfort food for me.

Off the Blog
I’ve wanted to paint for a few weeks now. After thinking about it for a while, I ordered some supplies and got to work. I was going to start with a tutorial on YouTube, but only followed along briefly before going my own way. The paints I bought aren’t very high quality, so it took some layering to get it to look to the way I wanted it to, but I’m pretty happy with the result. I added a small yeti into the painting, which is an ongoing joke with my husband. I’ll definitely continue painting whenever the mood strikes me. I have always enjoyed working with acrylics, and missed just putting paint on a canvas and seeing what comes out of it.
