This week’s prompt is in honour of Mardis Gras. According to Wikipedia, “Mardis Cras or Fat Tuesday, refers to events of the Carnival celebration, beginning on or after the Christian feasts of the Epiphany (Three Kings Day) and culminating on the day before Ash Wednesday, which is known as Shrove Tuesday.”
This is one of my favourite types of prompts because I get to dig around to find appropriate covers on my Goodreads list. I have come to realize that I read a lot of purple books, and very few green ones.

A young girl discovers a portal to a land filled with centaurs and unicorns.

Ten years ago Dee witnessed the abduction of her best friend, and now another child is missing.

A young woman agrees to fake date her friend after a video of him “rescuing” her from their office building goes viral.

The Galaxy, and the Ground Within
When a freak technological failure halts all traffic to and from Gora, three strangers—all different species with different aims—are thrown together at the Five-Hop.

The story of three female code breakers at Bletchley Park and the spy they must root out after the war is over.

Stevie Bell finally solves the mystery that has haunted Ellingham Academy for over 75 years.

Jenny Lawson explores her experimental treatment of transcranial magnetic stimulation with brutal honesty and humour.

Veronica and Stoker are invited to an island to help solve the mystery behind the disappearance of their host’s bride years earlier.

A Black queer girl with anxiety runs for prom queen in order to win the money she needs to get into her dream college.

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week a new Top Ten list for anyone to answer. Just add a link to them on your post, and add your name to the weekly linky!
Great list! Take a Hint, Dani Brown made my list this week, too, and I loved The Galaxy, and the Ground Within. I really want to give Across the Green Grass Fields and the Truly Devious series a try!

Pretty covers! I didn’t think to include the Veronica Speedwell book on my list, but I should have. Purple was my biggest challenge this week. 🙂 My TTT
