I don’t always get a chance to sit down and read an entire book in one sitting, but if I’m really into a book I’ll pretty much ignore everything else going on and just dive in (Hello, ADHD hyperfocus, my old friend.) Sometimes it’s a nice short book, but sometimes it’s a beast of a novel like House of Earth and Blood. It’s just whatever really snags my interest at the perfect time.
Do you often read books in one sitting?

I absolutely loved The House of Earth and Blood. I definitely would have read that in one sitting if I had the time!

I don’t usually manage to read books in one sitting, but I find that some light romances make it really easy to just read straight through and get caught up in the happy vibes. This reminds me, I still need to read The Jane Austen Project!

I used to be able to read in one sitting, but now life holds too many interruptions! I am most likely to read a mystery book in one sitting than something else.

I totally understand that! I read a lot of cozy mysteries in one sitting, but many of the other genres I read take much longer, even if the books are shorter. Life just doesn’t want to cooperate with my need to read! 😉

It seriously grabbed my interest from the very first line. It’s definitely a dark read, but was very good.
