Starting with books for younger readers and working my way up to books that I hope to share with the youth in my life as they mature.
Ten Book Recommendations for Bibliophiles
I work in a bookstore, so it's pretty safe to say that I love books. I'm not obsessed with books like some people I have met, but I do really love a great book... especially when it's a book about books. I think that anyone who really loves books gets a bit of a thrill from when reading about other bibliophiles.

I pride myself on being someone who reads books that not everyone else has read. I love being able to share my unique finds with customers and friends. All of these books are special in their own way. Some are very well-known, while others are hidden gems. I can't wait to see what other people have... Continue Reading →
Guest Review: ‘Dark Matter’ by Blake Crouch
I am lucky enough to have talented friends who are willing to write guest blogs for me when they feel passionately about a particular book. This guest blog is written by Scotto Williams, the often irreverent and always hilarious man behind scottowilliams.com and @scottowilliams When I first cracked open Blake Crouch’s new novel, Dark Matter, I was expecting something like a... Review: ‘The Invisible Library’ by Genevieve Cogman
You all know my weakness for books about books, so it should come as no surprise that I had to read The Invisible Library. Synopsis: Juliet has... Continue Reading →
Review: ‘Red Queen’ by Victoria Aveyard

Red Queen has been promoted a lot lately in my store, so I figured I... Continue Reading →

Review: ‘Ink and Bone’ by Rachel Caine
I wanted to read Ink and Bone last year, but then I got a bit turned off the whole "books-about-books" genre after a few less than stellar reads that I couldn't even get all the way through. On a whim I decided to check out the preview for this title on my Kobo and immediately... Continue Reading →
Review: ‘The Fourteenth Goldfish’ by Jennifer L. Holm
There was something about the title of this book that made me curious, so I decided to read this cute middle-grade book while on my break at work. I needed to know... who, or what, was the The Fourteenth Goldfish! Is it just a goldfish, or is it more? Synopsis: Sixth grade is a big change for... Continue Reading →
