Book Blogger Hop: Reading Challenges

Q: Do you have a reading challenge for 2020? (submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)

A: I always set myself a Goodreads challenge in January, but I am often way off in my final numbers. I don’t push myself to reach the goal that I set, so I could be way over or way under. I don’t see the point in forcing myself to read just to hit some random number that I set for myself. I read what I read, and if I hit my goal before the end of the year I might up the number, but I don’t pressure myself at all.

This year I am going to try to read more books outside of my comfort zone. I haven’t found a challenge yet that fits what I’m thinking. Maybe one book from each section in the store… which would mean that I need to read all those non-fiction titles that I just avoid most of the time. Yikes!

Book Blogger Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Coffee Addicted Writer that runs from Friday to Thursday.

Visit other blogs in the list and comment on their posts. Try to spend some time on the blogs reading other posts and possible become a new follower.  The purpose of the hop is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.
